Module 3: Unpacking an ISTE Standard Part 3: Implementation
Introduction
Module 3 will take you through the third and final phase of the ISTE Student Standard Unpacking Process: Implementation. In this phase, you will use the new learning objectives you wrote in step 4 along with the criteria for proficiency you developed in step 5 to determine appropriate assessments to evaluate students’ proficiency of learning objectives and select instructional tasks, pedagogical strategies, and technology to scaffold students’ development and proficiency of your learning objectives (steps 6 and 7). At the end of this process, you will share your work with the EdTech Connect NC online community and reflect on how going through this process impacted your understanding of how to implement the ISTE Student Standards into your instruction.
